The TV Neighbor started with a bill. A $218 cable bill that made me stop and think: there has to be a better way.
I grew up in Grand Rapids, Michigan — blue-collar town, Friday night football, gathering around the TV with my dad to watch the Lions and Red Wings. Sports were always the thread that held everything together. Years later, living in Toronto with my wife Sarah and our two kids, that thread was getting cut by bloated bills and confusing streaming apps.
I’m an IT guy by trade. So I dug in. Researched every legal option. Built a setup that worked beautifully — every game I wanted, one app, a fraction of the cost. Then I started helping my neighbors. Word spread. Soon it was hundreds of people.
The Mission
My goal is to help 1,000,000 sports fans cut the cable chaos. Every setup I build, every question I answer, every neighbor I help — that’s a step toward a million.
Overpaying for sports? Juggling 7 apps? Let’s fix it.
